ALUMINUM BOAT POLISHING — OUR SPECIALTY
Nautical Polishing got its name from a passion for the water and aluminum boats. Boat polishing is one of our flagship services, and it's where we do some of the most dramatic work — a weathered, gray, oxidized aluminum hull transformed into a mirror that reflects the sky and the water.
We work on aluminum jon boats, bass boats, bay boats, and any other aluminum-hulled watercraft. We also polish individual aluminum and stainless components from fiberglass boats — cleats, railings, trim, hardware, and fittings.
Whether you want a full hull polish or just the hardware, call (469) 383-4724and we'll give you a quote.
WHAT WE POLISH ON BOATS
Aluminum Hulls
Full hull polishing from bow to stern — the most dramatic transformation we do. An oxidized hull comes out looking like chrome on the water.
Pontoon Tubes
Pontoon logs are large aluminum cylinders that oxidize heavily. We restore them to a brilliant mirror that makes the whole boat look new.
Cleats & Hardware
Bow cleats, stern cleats, dock cleats, and all aluminum boat hardware polished to match your hull.
Stainless Railings
Bow rails, grab rails, fishing rod holders, and any stainless steel railing or tube on your boat.
Trim & Fittings
Aluminum and stainless trim pieces, ports, hatches, and marine fittings polished to a consistent finish across the entire boat.
Motor Mounts & Brackets
Aluminum motor mount brackets and outboard hardware polished as part of a full boat detail.
BEFORE & AFTER
Boats spend their lives exposed to water, sun, and the elements. Oxidation on aluminum hulls is inevitable — but it's also completely reversible. These are the kinds of jobs we do.
Before
Years of oxidation and water exposure on the aluminum hull.
After
Mirror finish from bow to stern — reflects the water and sky.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What kinds of boats do you polish?
Aluminum jon boats, bass boats, bay boats, pontoons, and any aluminum-hulled watercraft. We also polish individual stainless and aluminum hardware from fiberglass boats.
Can you polish a full aluminum hull?
Yes. Full hull polishing is one of the most dramatic transformations we do. An oxidized, gray, weathered hull comes out looking like a mirror.
Do I need to bring the whole boat?
If you want a full hull polish, yes. If you just want the cleats and hardware done, remove those pieces and bring them in — it's faster and less expensive than trailering the whole boat.
Do you polish stainless hardware on boats?
Yes. Stainless steel railings, cleats, bow rails, and marine fittings are polished as part of our boat polishing work. Check out our stainless steel polishing service for more details.
How do I maintain a polished aluminum hull?
Rinse after every outing, avoid abrasive brushes, and use pH-neutral cleaners. A periodic maintenance buff keeps the mirror looking sharp as aluminum slowly re-oxidizes from exposure to water and sun.
